Bettys Tea Rooms - Harrogate Town Centre

The story of Bettys began in Harrogate in 1919 and we’ve been welcoming locals and visitors to our café tea rooms ever since. Before you enter, it’s worth pausing under the wrought iron canopy to feast your eyes on the mouth-watering window displays that vary with the season. Once inside the shop you’ll be spoilt for choice with over 300 breads, cakes and chocolates, as well as 50 different teas and coffees.

Our Café Tea Rooms at the RHS Gardens at Harlow Carr in Harrogate offer all the delights of a visit to Bettys – delicious cakes, dainty pastries, freshly baked bread and of course, the high standards and friendly smiles – but in a very different location. RHS Gardens Harlow Carr in Yorkshire covers 27.5 hectares (68 acres).  Set in a valley and very much part of the Yorkshire countryside, the garden has a wide variety of growing landscapes, from running and still water to woodland and wildflower meadows. As it is located alongside rather than inside, you don;t have to pay to enter the gardens in order to visit Bettys

Old Bell Tavern

Located in the Montpelier Quarter, close to the Pump Rooms Museum and Valley Gardens, the taverns name refers to the fact that until 1815 an earlier Inn, The Bell existed on the site. An independent Tavern group they offer a much wider range of alcoholic and soft drinks. Deano's Graze & Grill

Sister restaurant of the renowned Tanning Level. Mitchelin trained chef Deano wanted to solve a problem people often have when going out to eat - choosing the right thing on the menu.  The menu focuses on hearty, rustic dishes with influences of around the world and yet with all locally sourced ingredients.  They also invite you to order as little or as many small plates as you wish-the food is ideal for sharing with friends and family.  Of course, they realise that grazing may not appeal to everyone therefore they also have a grill section on the menu with all of their steaks.  They also offer Sunday Brunch and a full Roast with all the trimmings each Sunday.
